Watchful Deed

There were a lot of things that I’ve learned from the reporter and from the video that we watched. From the video, I just know that Roman Empire was a divided empire and that each empire wants to conquer the other. Emperor Constantine was a different emperor for he trusted the one true God of the Christians. Thus He dedicated his life to Him. From the report, the reporter stated three points on his report. If I am not wrong, these are the belief changes, the early Christian writing, and primary causes of false belief and practice within the growing church. Among these three, I rendered interest in the primary causes of false belief and practice. I just learned that there are 5 causes of false belief and practice and rapid growth of the Christian and struggle with in Christians are included. Because of this, it made me think that church is not just group of imperfect people but also a group of potential people that can destroy itself.

            As I was processing the lesson that I’ve learned, it made me think that God could use unexpected person to carry out his plan and that the church where I am at could be a potential people to destroy it. I should change the way I think on how God uses person and see the church. I should not weigh success by the number of the church. Lastly, I should settle dispute if any conflict happens.

            For my application, I find it practical to make steps out from my realization on the church. First thing to do is to get to know more my young people and their real motive in going to church and disciple them. Next thing to do is to avoid any attack on the young people’s being. This might result to conflict so better keep away from this. If confrontation is necessary, better talk in private so that shame will not be evident. Lastly, I should set myself as an example in speech, conduct, and behavior to the young people.
